Environmental Impact
Safe, Environmentally Responsible, Fast Cleaning: Dry Ice Blasting
Dry Ice Blasting uses dry ice pellets (about the size of rice grains) that are made of solid carbon dioxide at a temperature of -79 degrees Celcius (-109 F) and propelled by compressed air at the speed of sound. This same carbon dioxide is used in the food and beverage industry. It’s cheap, safe, non-poisonous and easily stored.
This new dry ice cleaning method is also safe for the environment. The carbon dioxide (captured and stored) used in the process is a natural by-product of the petro-chemical industry. This eliminates new production of CO2 during our cleaning process. Dry Ice Blasting can be an essential component of a company’s environmental plan when they are looking to minimize their carbon footprint while maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness on site.
